Hugh's training goes so far beyond a basic Personal Trainer course. He has done a course in:

  • Integrated Body Therapies,
  • Remedial Massage,
  • Cranio Sacral Therapy,
  • Myofascial Release and
  • Kinesiology.

Not only that, but he also completed various Poliquin Institute and Chek Institute certifications too!

He deeply understands the body, the way it moves, the way it should line up and how to make that happen.

(Nevermind the fact that he is a university qualified engineer. It's his deep desire to create structural balance - including in your body).

Fitness PLUS Structural Balance

One of the things his clients love… is that even if it's just a funny niggle of a pain while they are doing an exercise, Hugh will have them stop while he does a quick adjustment and then they can go back to training in a powerful and pain free way.

Not only does Hugh make sure that you are not hurting yourself, he will talk you through nutrition and all sorts of other key components to fat loss during your sessions.

With his extensive education in nutrition, fat loss, supplementation, bodywork, mindset and so much more… means that he doesn't ONLY kick your butt. He wants to educate you and keep you fit and healthy so that you can maintain the fat loss for a lifetime.

I can honestly say… this is no ordinary personal training session. As a matter of fact… Hugh varies things so much so that your body is never used to doing the same program over and over again.

One of his clients was commenting about her post-workout soreness. We all made comment on how it's truly amazing that even after seeing Hugh twice a week for nearly 5 years… She still gets sore after every workout. That's saying something…

One on One - Personal Training sessions

This is truly the best. You get 55 minutes, where you are the centre of attention... Hugh will push you and make sure you are doing things right.  Hugh can also take the time to really teach you the proper mechanics of lifting so that you don't hurt yourself. And it's not just exercise we look at here... The session is designed specifically for you to get your desired results.

Semi - Private Fitness Training

If you have friend or partner that you want to come in with… share the cost and still get personalised programs. This is a great way to do it. It can be quite a bonding experience helping someone else push through their barriers, physically and mentally... all the while pushing through yours.

Group Fitness Training

Our group sessions are good fun and will push you to sweat! Many of our one-on-one clients also do group sessions. They are designed a bit differently to accommodate everyone and less personalised for your exact needs. You will for sure get sweaty and get a great workout. They are filled with great people who love a good laugh and grunt. These are also the least expensive way to get a personal trainer, but still reap the benefits.

At Targeted Fat Loss, we keep our groups small. We don't have more than 6 in a group. We want to make sure that everyone is doing things correctly and remaining uninjured, so it's really important for us to be able to watch what's going on.

Each of these has great benefits and you can surely have a combination of all of them. Plenty of our clients already do.
